December 23rd Cobra Holiday Basketball Fest!!!!
Happy Holidays from all of us here at Split Second! We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to some well deserved time off these upcoming weeks!
For all those sticking around Vancouver this holiday season we'd like to invite you to our Cobra Holiday Basketball Festival on Saturday December 23rd at VTT.
2:30pm (gym open at 2pm)- 3x3 for all Cobra U15-18 Boys, Girls, Parents and Coaches:
At 2:30pm we will make 3x3 teams and compete in a tournament. While all Cobras families are welcome and encouraged to attend, participation on 3x3 teams will be reserved for U15-18 players and any of their parents ready to compete with them.
4:30pm- U18, Alumni and Coaches:
At the end of 3x3, we encourage all families to stick around to watch our esteemed alumni battle the current U18 players and coaches. Share some old memories and create some new ones, as we spend the afternoon with friends in a warm gym playing the game we love.
Holiday Store:
Still searching for the perfect last minute Christmas Gift? Look no further, the Cobra Holiday Fest will have everything you need ranging from Split Second socks, toques, T-shirts, hoodies and more. Design your own hoodie with our in-house printing press or save on last year’s inventory. Either way you will be able to cross everyone off your shopping checklist.
A big thank you to everyone that purchased from our Holiday Store in the last month. Your gear will be ready and waiting for you to pick up at the Cobra Holiday Basketball Fest. Can’t wait for you guys to get your gear right in time for the Holidays, it looks great!!
Season of Giving:
While the holidays are a joyful time filled with family and relaxation for a lot of us, it is an incredibly challenging season for many. By working together as a community we can help make a difference to the large scale problem of food insecurity in Vancouver. Please bring any non-parashiable food items to the Cobra Holiday Basketball Fest. In support of the cause, we will be gifting the player who brings in the most food items a Split Second Gear Package including a Hoodie, Socks and a Beanie. We are looking forward to making a postove impact together as a community.
