Our Purpose

We believe that finding your path on the court will lead you to your path in life. We know the way because we’ve been there ourselves. We are the mentors. The leaders. The pathfinders.

We shine a light on the path for our players to follow, to learn, and achieve. We have the experience to develop skill and character in all our players no matter their age or ability. We teach our players to be focused, tough, resilient and strong. We train our players how to be great teammates, how to sacrifice, how to win and how to lose. We show our players how to work hard, listen carefully, communicate and compete.

This is the path to life and along this path, our players find the discipline and dedication to master their craft. But this path isn’t easy to locate. It can’t be found in a classroom. Or searched for online. The path to life starts on our court. And when you find your path here. You find yourself.

Our pathway starts with our skills training programs, designed to teach players the fundamentals of the game in a supportive, instructive and fun environment. Our curriculum begins with the youngest elementary aged players and advances to challenge our high school aged athletes. We run our own leagues to give players the opportunity to compete (3X3 in the winter and summer and full-court in spring and fall). Our most dedicated and committed players can try out for the Cobras, our competitive club travel teams. And finally, we have a high-performance training program to support our top high school players as they prepare for a post-secondary basketball career.

The results speak for themselves as we have now coached several thousand young athletes and our impact is growing.

“Split Second Basketball is REAL basketball, and boy, do we need it. These coaches understand how players can grow and develop as individuals.”
