Summer 2023 Registration Open
Split Second is excited to announce that our Summer 2023 registration is now LIVE! With locations in Vancouver, Richmond, and Delta, we have beginner to advanced options for boys and girls in grades 2 to 12. Below are the program details:
Summer Camps (Grade 2-10):
Spend your summer improving your basketball skills, playing against great competition, and having fun with your friends. Our half-day camps for boys and girls will be 3 hours (either 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm) each day. Held every week of the summer at multiple locations, including Vancouver Talmud Torah, Southpointe Academy, and South Delta Rec Centre, our camps are designed to strike the perfect balance between honing skills, engaging in competitive drills, and participating in game scrimmages.
We thoughtfully arrange players into groups based on age, gender, and skill level (Level 1-3) to ensure that every participant is playing with and against those of similar ability, maximizing the fun and development for all involved.
Summer 3x3 League (Grade 4-12):
Join us for a fast-paced, high-energy game in a competitive and enjoyable environment. Our league offers a unique opportunity to play alongside different teammates each session, allowing you to develop a diverse skill set and learn new elements of 3x3 basketball. With teams forming at each session, you'll have the chance to battle for the most wins and be crowned champion at the end of the season. Don't miss out on the chance to be a part of this unforgettable summer basketball league!
Our 3x3 League will be held at Vancouver Talmud Torah every Tuesday and Thursday. Players will be competing in 1.5 hour time slots.
Small Group Training (Grade 4-10):
Our small group training will be available in Vancouver (Vancouver Talmud Torah), Richmond (Oval), and Delta (Southpointe). Players are divided into small groups of 6-8 based on age, ability, gender, and friend requests. Our coaches will customize a training plan for each group, improving skills and developing game sense. Players will also play small-sided games to work on these in-game skills.
This program is intended for players at the intermediate and advanced stages (Level 2 to 3).
Weekend Player Development (Grade 7+):
Players will learn and work on their shooting, ball handling, in-game finishing, decision making, and other personal development skills. With personalized feedback from experienced Split Second coaches, players will learn what it takes to get to the next level.
These sessions will be hosted at Vancouver Talmud Torah every Saturday and Sunday for 2.5 hours. This program is intended for competitive players at the intermediate to advanced levels.
