Steve Nash’s Hall of Fame Advice
Great basketball players have many things in common, but one trait that all great basketball players have is the resolve and spirit to get through the challenging times, and bounce back to become better.
Nobody exemplifies this more than the greatest Canadian basketball player of all time and 2X MVP Steve Nash. Nash faced a lot of adversity through his playing career, but he always found a way to fight through the obstacles and ride the ups and downs with a positive and determined mindset.
In his Hall of Fame speech, Nash gives advice on some of the greatest qualities an athlete can possess including building resiliency through the ups and downs, focussing on the long game to achieve your goals, and finding enjoyment from failure to turn it into a platform for success.
His commitment and sacrifice to improvement, his team and the obsessive work ethic to be the best he could be granted him some of the most rewarding experiences an athlete could ask for.
