The “Skills Training Programs” section of this website is where you’ll see a listing of all of our weekly skills programs that are available. Generally the terms for these classes are:
Fall– September to December
Winter– January to March
Spring– March to June
7 to 18 weeks depending on the program
Note: several programs continue through both Winter and Spring. Registration typically opens 1 to 2 months prior to the first class.
Our Skills Training Programs are the best place you can go to develop your individual skills. This is where the Split Second System can really help you build superior habits passing, shooting, dribbling, defending, moving, cutting, screening….and much more. You’ll also get a chance to test your newly developed capabilities in competitive situations and short games.
We have options for players ranging from complete beginners to top level players who are prepping for a post secondary basketball career. Please visit the link below to find the listings of programs offered in the current season.
1. Learn the SPECIFIC DETAILS of how to execute the fundamental skills of basketball in the most time-efficient and effective way.
2. TRAIN and REINFORCE these skills until they become habit, in a FUN, SUPPORTIVE and CHALLENGING environment.
We use the Split Second System to build individual skills and put players into competitive game situations to test and reinforce what they have learned.
Classes are available for boys and girls in Grades 1 – 11.
While the level of coaching detail and competition change with age, the need to master the fundamentals does not. We maintain a low coach to player ratio and breakdown to smaller groups within the class based on age and ability.
