With so much uncertainty this summer, we know that it’s difficult for you to plan and want to provide as much flexibility as we can. Register for the camp you want and you’re free to change it to any other available week with this summer if you give us 14 days notice.

QUESTIONS ABOUT CAMP?

Will social distancing being practiced?

We are following best practices from the BC government and leading health experts to make sure we do our part to minimize risk of COVID transmission.

At the time of writing in early June, this means maintaining social distancing and thorough cleaning procedures throughout camp. As the summer progresses and public policy allows for a greater level of contacts, we will adjust our camps accordingly.

What time will my camp sessions be?

All camp sessions are between 9am and 4pm each day.

In order for us to provide a fantastic camp experience during a period when we are imposing limits to keep group sizes small for COVID, it is crucial that we maintain flexibility of camp operations and group composition.

REGISTER for the week you want to attend camp. We will form the best group possible for you and let you know your timeslot at least a week before the start of camp.

With current health practices recommending shorter training sessions and social distancing, our summer of camps will initially start with a schedule of Monday to Friday for 2 hours each day.

If public guidelines allow greater competition and length of training, we will shift to Monday to Thursday for 2.5 hours/day.

How will groups be organized?

We will thoughtfully arrange players to form the best groups possible, taking into consideration age, gender and playing experience in forming the groups.

You may also send an email request to Lesley@splitsecondbasketball.com to be placed with friends of similar age and experience. Groups will be emailed their start time a minimum of 1 week before camp starts.
