Split Second coaches lead you through 7 weeks of series of lessons, drills and at-home training sessions to help you master the fundamentals

GRADES 3-8

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

This course is designed for players in grades 3-8. For younger players it is helpful to have a parent or an older sibling give support with some of the drills.

HOW DOES THE COURSE WORK?

Click the REGISTRATION button below. Split Second will send you a welcome email with instructions on how to get the SSB-XPS app on your phone. Because we need to manually create your personal account it may take a day to receive your account information.

Each week, you will have 2 sessions programmed on your app.

The first session is called the ACADEMY because the main purpose of it is to teach you about the SKILL OF THE WEEK…which we’ll do through a couple of videos and short practice drills.

The second session is called the WORKOUT because it will give you a chance to do lots of fun drills practicing the SKILL OF THE WEEK and other important basketball fundamentals.

While most exercises were created so that you can do them on your own, they’re even better if you have a family member with you…so go ahead and ask your parents …. It’s especially helpful for this first week.

SSB Online Courses are designed for players who have access to a hoop. If you don’t have access to a hoop, you will still be able to learn all the information and do a significant portion of the drills…but you will either have to shorten the workouts or need do extra repetitions for the exercises which don’t require a hoop.

SSB Online Workouts are designed to provide players with a variety of different workout options including workouts for players who do not have access to a hoop.

Players signed up for the Online Course (or Online Workouts) can add-on our #STAYINTHEGAME package to:  

Join weekly LIVE Zoom basketball workouts to connect with other athletes and your coach. Turn your camera on to get real-time feedback. Be accountable to show up at your assigned Zoom time and put in the work. Whether it’s in your driveway or on a living room floor, players will need approximately 8′ x 5′ space somewhere with WIFI connection to do the dribbling and ball handling work

GET FIT and STAY FIT in weekly LIVE Zoom fitness workouts to supplement your basketball development. Convince your whole family to join in these high-energy and high intensity fitness workouts. Have fun and get your body moving

Jump on LIVE Zoom learning sessions to round out your education. Connect with our guest speakers: Strength and Conditioning trainers, mental performance coaches, university coaches, professional athletes, nutritionists and MORE…you will get the opportunity to ask experts questions and learn in our supportive basketball community

PUSH yourself by participating in our challenges. We will be sending out different challenges over the weeks, giving you targets and fun prompts to motivate and encourage you to put in the practice and develop those skills! These are opportunities to connect with fellow athletes online…and maybe even win a prize!

Zoom sessions will be in the late afternoon and begin the week of May 11th. Links will be sent out with registration confirmation.

WHAT IS THE COST?

A 2 month subscription to our Online Course costs $50. Add-on access to the #StayInTheGame package and all the LIVE Zoom sessions for $30/month ($60 total).

 

WHY IS THIS COURSE IMPORTANT

This course will help you train the fundamentals of basketball and show you how professional players use these key skills in NBA games.

GRADES 7-12

WHO ARE THE WORKOUTS FOR?

The workouts have been designed with high school players in mind, however, advanced younger players will be able to follow the majority of the drills. The main requirement is that you’re serious about getting better and willing to put the time and effort into working out.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE WORKOUTS

After clicking on the button below to register for our Online Workout program, you will be sent an email with a username, password and instructions for putting the SSB-XPS app on your phone or iPad. Because we need to manually create your personal account and send out instruction emails, it may take a day to receive your new account information

Each week, SSB coaches will create and schedule workouts for you to complete. These workouts will appear on your SSB-XPS app’s calendar tab and can also be set up as reminders if you turn on the notifications in your phone’s settings.

Our Online Workouts are designed to provide players with a variety of different workout options including workouts for players who do not have access to a hoop.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Complete access to all the workouts is only $15.00/month.

Individual workouts will help you get the hundreds, thousands even millions of reps you need to be able to consistently execute skills at game speed.

Our Online Workouts, delivered through your phone on the SSB-XPS app, will help you get these reps by providing you 4 fantastic workouts each week.
